Over the past year dog fouling has become an issue on the Paddock. Despite our and the council's attempts, current dog control orders have not been effective in keeping dog walkers from misusing the pitch.

Despite rigorous efforts from our mighty volunteer team, the fouling has understandably had an impact on cleanliness, safety, and in turn, the our recruitment as parents are reluctant to let their kids play on fields which might cause them harm.

We've established a fundraising campaign to build a security fence around the affected fields to protect rugby players young and old by preventing unauthorised access to the private grounds.

As with many clubs, sports teams and community groups, the Covid pandemic has affected our fundraising capabilities with not just regular matches, but the popular events such the family fun day and beer festival being cancelled throughout 2020.

Fundraising events like these normally raise the funds needed to support improvement projects like the fence and as such, we have launched a campaign to ask for help from supporters and the local community.

With the easing of government restrictions, rugby training will be soon restarting we're working hard to make sure youth players are coming back to a clean and safe environment.

As part of the campaign, those who make donations to the club will rewarded with host of prizes and recognitions. There are donation options for both individuals and businesses and prizes range from entry into prize draws for club branded clothing, or for those able to make significant donations, there’s even a chance to rename the club’s main grandstand!
